Controlling self harm

Complete physical abuse to the extent of heading into hospital like cutting for example needs to be looked at a lot closer and the people who are doing it need to assess how to change. I understand that to them it is a way out, however they are doing more harm than good. Take a step back look at what you're doing to yourself. There is a known trick frompsychologists which actually helps self harmer's to control their anger and to concentrate on not harming themselves physically by using a rubber band, if you but a rubber band around your wrist when you feel like self harming just ping the rubber band onto your wrist a couple of times until your stress subsides.

Scared of answering the telephone?

When newly starting a career no matter what it is you may find yourself in an admin support role. Admin support roles generally consist of post sorting, filing and telephone answering. To some people this may seem like nothing but others could be caught in a trap whereby they fear answering the phone when not knowing who is on the other end of the line.

Scared of job interviews?

Being nervous is more than likely the thing that gets most people. I've seen people have full blown panic attacks because nerves have got the better of them. I wrote an article on how to get better at talking in public which seems to have gone down well with my readers.
